Extra-large baby wipes: why size makes such a difference

A larger wipe gives you more surface area to work with. You can fold it in half, your hands stay clean, and one wipe is often all you need. That is why MyRoyalWipes from MyRoyalKids are among the largest baby wipes you can buy.
How it began
Julia Feenstra discovered extra-large baby wipes while on holiday. Back in the Netherlands, she could not find them anywhere. After two years of development, My Royal Baby arrived in shops. Since September 2026, the brand has been called My Royal Kids. The wipes, My Royal Wipes, have stayed the same.
The numbers
· 28 × 23 cm, or 644 cm² per wipe: well over twice the size of a standard WaterWipes baby wipe.
· 60 grams per m² of viscose: a thick, sturdy wipe that does not tear easily.
· 40 wipes per pack: approximately 2.58 m² of wipe material in total.
· The wipe: 100% viscose, plastic-free and biodegradable. Put it in general waste, not in the toilet.
· Closure: a resealable push-to-open closure that can be opened with one hand.
Why bigger is so convenient
· One wipe, one motion. No need to reach for a second wipe while your baby rolls away.
· Clean hands. There is more wipe between you and the nappy.
· Fewer wipes used. Many parents find one wipe enough where they previously used several small ones.
Ouders van Nu tested fourteen brands of baby wipes and gave My Royal Baby the award for the most luxurious wipe. On Trustpilot, Mirjam says the size keeps her hands clean. Mandy often needs just one.
